The Japanese Garden ‘Ju Raku En’ (roughly translated to mean 'to enjoy peace and longevity in a public place') was opened on 21 April 1989 by Mr Yoshiharu Araki from the Brisbane Consul-General of Japan. Located over three hectares on the northern side of UniSQ Toowoomba, the site is jointly owned by UniSQ and the Toowoomba Regional Council.
